The trading hours and days within the duration of the Game will be following the HKEx’s trading time policy with details available on the website: http://www.hkex.com.hk.
2.
Participating in the Game is free of charge. The simulation platform for the Game is powered by I-Access Group Limited.
3.
All full-time students, aged 17 or above from all nationalities, of the participating institutions (“Participants”), are eligible to participate in the Game. Participants are required to register for the Game via their associated Society.
4.
Participants compete individually in the Game. Each participant can only register once during the Registration Period.
5.
At the end of Stage One, i.e. after market close at 4:30 p.m. on 13th October, 2017, the total portfolio value of the Account for each participant will be calculated by I-Access Group, marked to the market prices using the close prices at 4:30 p.m. on 13th October, 2017. Should a stock be suspended during the Game period, the last close price will be used to calculate the Account value
6.
The top 10 best performers in Stage One will be selected according to the Account values at 4:30 p.m. on 13th October, 2017. They will enter the final competition (“the Final”) to be held on 18th October, 2017. The finalists in the Final are required to give up any other prizes (if any), like product prizes and prizes awarded at university level.
7.
During Stage One, each participant will be granted an initial virtual capital of HK$ 1,000,000 at the beginning of the Game. Participants must have at least 5 matched trades in order to qualify for the Final. At the Final stage, each of the 10 finalists will be granted an additional virtual capital of HK$ 9,000,000 on top of the total portfolio value carried over from Stage One. In addition, each finalist must have at least 10 matched trades to qualify for the prizes.
8.
Three platinum ETF prizes and two silver ETF prizes are set up for participants who have traded at least one ETF security during Stage One with top 5 highest Account value. The ETF Prize winners are not allowed to compete for any other prizes.
9.
A Warrant Prize is set up for participant who has traded at least one warrant security during Stage One with the highest Account value at the end of Stage One. The Warrant Prize winner is not allowed to compete for any other prizes.
10.
For each participating institution, 10 prizes are set up for its top 10 best participants within the institution. Winners in this category are not allowed to compete for any other prizes.
11.
On the Final day, each finalist is required to present an Identification Document and a valid student identification document for identity verification purpose before the Final begins. At the Final stage, the 10 finalists compete for the prizes in I-Access trading room on 18th October, 2017 from 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
12.
The Final’s result will be released at the Closing Ceremony on 18th October, 2017 and published on the official website of the Game. The finalist with the highest value in the Account will be the champion of the Game. The second highest one will be the 1st Runner-up, so on and so forth. Should finalists have the same Account values, the one with larger cash portion wins.
13.
The Prizes Presentation Ceremony (“the Ceremony ”) will be held on 18th October, 2017. A separate email about the arrangement will be sent nearer the time. All prize winners MUST attend the Ceremony. If a winner does not show up at the Ceremony, he/she will be considered to give up the prizes.
